CHIP

Just under 265 sq ft in size, Chip is a cozy one room cottage. It has a queen bed and is suitable for one person or a couple. Chip has a new 3 piece bathroom with walk in shower. It features a 30" range and 9 cu ft fridge. There is a new deck with patio furniture in a shady area in front of the cottage. Surrounding Chip is a lovely grassy area and there is a wonderful, unobstructed view to the lake. Chip is located straight up from the beach and is popular with couples looking for a private getaway.

NESTLEDOWN AND RHODA

The interiors of each cottage have been updated while retaining the original maple floors. Both contain four piece bathrooms and ample sized kitchen and sitting areas. Both cottages have a 30" range, ample sized refrigerator and microwave.
Each cottage has excellent views of the lake. Rhoda has a lovely grassy area in front while Nestledown is closer to the lake and straight up from the dock where you can enjoy a ringside seat to the spectacular sunsets.
There is a single pull out sofa in the sitting room of each cottage. Rhoda is 470sqft and has two queen size beds. Nestledown is 425sqft and features a queen and single bed.

Two Bedroom Accommodations

WINDSONG AND COTTONTAIL
Both are our most popular 2 bedroom cottages. The interiors of each have been updated while maintaining the original maple floors. Cottontail has a four piece bathroom, Windsong has a three piece bathroom with shower. They each feature a 30" range, 18cuft refrigerator and microwave.
The cottages are located about 30 feet from the shore for commanding and unsurpassed views. Both Windsong and Cottontail have a private deck/patio perched at the shore. Views of the sunsets are amazing!
Windsong is 535 sqft and has a queen size bed in one room with a queen and a single bed in the other. Cottontail is 500sqft and features a queen in one room and a single and a double in the other.

DEER RUN

Deer Run is a large contemporary 2 bedroom suite on the upper floor of a two level chalet offering 800 sqft of living space. It was recently updated with a new kitchen and flooring. It features a 30" range, 18cuft refrigerator and microwave.
An expansive wrap-around deck gives plenty of room and generous views of the lake. Deer Run is located in a stand of red pines, facing the lake.
There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen and single in the other. A double sized pull-out is in the living area and there are two 4 piece bathrooms.

SNOWSHOE

One of our new eco cottages, Snowshoe features 1400 sqft of living space and is stunning in every way. Outside it is serene with a private setting overlooking the resort and the inside is beautifully decorated with many original works of Canadian fine art. It is also a "shining" example of environmentally sound building design. Snowshoe cottage is heated to a large extent by a state of the art solar heat system.
Two huge pine columns frame your arrival. The open concept layout and 9' ceiling allows for a cascade of natural light. Heated floors and a see-through fireplace make it toasty warm in winter. In summer, you can open the French doors to let in fresh breezes and enjoy the screened porch.
Extra wide doorways and a one floor design make it a delightful cottage for those in wheelchairs or where mobility is a concern. Snowshoe is also well appointed with satellite TV, stereo sound, 18cuft refrigerator, 30" range, microwave and gas BBQ.
The master bedroom features a queen size bed with garden doors opening onto the screened porch. The second bedroom has a double and single bed.

Three Bedroom Accommodations

Fox Cub is 1100sqft and offers 3 bedrooms with 3 four piece bathrooms. Only 60 feet from the shore it is located in a stand of pine trees. Fox Cub has a private waterfront sitting area with its own outdoor fireplace.
The upper level features a kitchen with 30" range and 9cuft refrigerator - a second refrigerator is located on the lower floor. The large bedroom has a queen and single bed. The lower level has two bedrooms, one with two queen beds and the other with a queen and single pull out sofa. There is one fireplace on each level.
Accessed between the two levels is via an outside stairwell. It has been very popular for extended families or mixed groups but may not be suitable for families with small children.

SUGARBUSH

With 800sqft of space, this lower unit of a two storey chalet has three bedrooms and one 4 piece bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second a double and the third two twin beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 30" range and 18cuft refrigerator. Beach laminate floors are found throughout. Sugarbush also has a fireplace and a private patio with a great view down to the lake.

CHINOOK

Our newest eco cottage was two years in the making. It's nothing short of amazing and it's made of straw! Tastefully decorated, Chinook greets you with a spacious open floor plan of more than 2800sqft of living space and it's made of straw! The environmentally friendly features are numerous; the comfort and luxury it exudes is overwhelming. There is room for nine persons in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen, living and dining areas are combined into one grand space, and open into a beautiful Muskoka porch looking out towards the lake. Chinook features a gas fireplace, TV, DVD, stereo, washer/dryer and a kitchen that will make any chef smile.

JOLLY ROVER

Jolly Rover is our largest cottage with four bedrooms and two bathrooms - a four piece bathroom downstairs and a three piece bathroom upstairs. It has been updated with wood floors and a large screened porch.
Three of the bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One has a double bed, the second has a set of bunks and the third has twin beds. The lower floor bedroom has a queen bed. The kitchen has a 30" range and 18cuft refrigerator and to complete the main floor there is a cozy sitting area with gas fireplace. Jolly Rover is available year round
Jolly Rover has a great location overlooking the beach and swimming area.

Main Lodge

The Main Lodge at Foxwood was built in 1920. Up until the late 80's it provided accommodation for guests and housed the dining room. Although meals and accommodation are no longer available in the Main Lodge, it is an important centre of life at Foxwood.
The Reception office is located in the Main Lodge. As well, the Lodge features an activities room with ping pong, fooze ball, a great selection of board games and puzzles, and a large screen TV. It is also where we host many of our evening activities, wedding functions and group events. The Main Lodge library is a wonderful place to find a good book and you can't beat the sun porch for a place to sit back, read the paper and enjoy the cool breezes coming up from the lake. The Lodge is open from May to October.

All accommodation units are designed for self catering and have equipped kitchens with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and cutlery sufficient for the number of people staying. You will also find tea towels, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. We routinely supply dish soap, sponge, cloths, toilet paper and garbage bags. Linen service (bed sheets, pillow cases and bath towels) is available for $10 per person for your stay. Blankets, bedspreads, pillows, bath mats and mattress covers are supplied. Restaurant facilities are not offered at the resort. Propane BBQ's are available to rent - we do not allow charcoal BBQ's.
